Now a TV presenter and solo artist, Matt is due to host the student night Flirt Beach Party in the University of Hertfordshire’s Forum.
Busted topped the charts in 2003 with You Said No and Crashed The Wedding.

The pop group eventually sold more than three million albums worldwide before splitting up and won two BRIT Awards.
The Flirt party will take place in the Forum’s Auditorium from 9pm to 3am.
Entry is £4 advance, £5 on the door and £7.50 after midnight.
This event is for students and guests only.

Basildon sparkles as Christmas lights are switched on
IT was all light on the night in Basildon as former boyband member Matt Willis flicked the switch to turn on the town’s festive lights.
Thousands of revellers headed to St Martin’s Square, to watch the former Busted guitarist and 2006 I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner switch on Basildon’s festive illuminations.
The 26-year-old musician turned TV presenter, didn’t show any signs of wilting, despite being involved in a crash two days ago while riding his bike in London.
A firework display accompanied the switch-on and the noise rattled one or two spectators.
Shoppers also enjoyed a funfair and a Christmas-themed farmers’ market.
POP star and reality TV show winner Matt Willis will switch on the Christmas lights in Basildon this year.
Willis, a former member of Busted and winner of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, will be in the town centre on Thursday, November 19 for the big switch-on.
It will take place at 6.30pm, with a Christmas farmers’ market, street entertainers and fairground rides all lined up to accompany the event.
Basildon Council is organising other entertainment for the event, which starts at 3.30pm including an appearance by cast members from the Towngate Theatre’s Christmas panto, Jack and the Beanstalk.
Andrew Baggott, councillor responsible for community, said: “We’ve organised some great entertainment .
“I would especially like to thank Matt for agreeing to come and join our chairman Mo Larkin in switching on the Christmas lights.
“We set a good precedent with last year’s event, but I think this one will be even better.”
Last year, Britain’s Got Talent finalists, dance group Signature, performed to a huge crowd in St Martin’s Square.
His former Busted bandmate Matt Willis recently posted on his Twitter website that he would like a Busted reunion because the pop group have “unfinished business”. However, Charlie said that was the last thing on his mind. “I don’t know what Matt’s talking about,” he said. “It’s a load of rubbish. “Busted feels like a different lifetime, it’s a world away from the music I’m making at the moment.”
The singer-and-presenter - whose music career has floundered since the group split up in 2005 - says he has "unfinished business" with his former bandmates.
While he will happily work with James Bourne again, he is unsure about a reunion with singer Charlie Simpson.
Matt posted on his Twitter page: "Right! Busted! In answer to when are we getting back together... I honestly don't know! But I like to think we have serious unfinished business.
"Charlie was not fun to be in a band with towards the end. I'm not sure I'd want to be in a band again with him! I still think Charlie is a cool guy but he made things a bit miserable."
However, one reason why Matt may claim he doesn't want to reunite with Charlie is that the Fightstar frontman is content with his career in the rock band he left Busted to concentrate on.
A source said: "The guys have been offered loads of money to get back together several times in the past. Matt and James are up for it - their projects since the band haven't quite worked out as well as they'd hoped - but Charlie's doing fine with Fightstar and doesn't see any reason to go back to the past."
If Matt's reunion plans don't work, the singer - who has four-month-old daughter Isabelle with wife Emma Willis - already has an alternative career path in mind.
He wrote on Twitter: "Cornwall is the most amazing place in the UK man! One day I will move down here and open up a motorbike custom shop! I have a dream!"
Busted released their first single in 2002 and went on to have eight UK top three singles, including four numbers ones.
They released two albums - both of which charted at number two in the UK - before going their separate ways four years ago.
Busted pop star Matt Willis changes our baby's nappies
STUNNING MTV presenter Emma Willis has revealed her pop star hubby Matt is a hands-on dad who changes their 11 week-old daughter’s nappies.
The rock television host, who showed off her svelte figure at the launch of Birmingham’s Style in The City event last week, had left baby Isabelle at her parents’ home in Sutton Coldfield with hubby Matt.
But she was confident the tot was in VERY capable hands.
“Matt’s a great dad,” she told the Sunday Mercury. “He changes nappies, feeds Isabelle, and everything else, too. He’s such a great father. He really dotes on her.”
Matt, who shot to fame in boyband Busted and then went on to win ITV1 show I’m Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, had previously been well-known for his party boy antics.
But he soon settled down after meeting Emma, who asked him out through a celebrity pal.
The couple married last year in a low-key ceremony at Rushton Hall, Northamptonshire, where guests included David Gest, Holly Willoughby, Ant McPartlin, McFly, Kara Tointon and Heidi Range.
And they worked together as hosts of ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity spin-off show.
But the pair decided not to stick with the show after Emma fell pregnant and they wanted to concentrate on being a family.
“I love being a mum,” said Emma, “It’s an amazing feeling. I miss Isabelle so much when she’s not with me – like right now.
“I find it hard to leave her, too, but I want to go back to work because I really enjoy it. Both Matt and I take it in turns looking after her. If he has to work then I’m with her, and vice versa.”
Since giving birth, modest Emma has already lost a stone. But she added: “I’m hoping to drop another stone so I can get back down to a size 8 again. I do feel like I have a few wobbly bits on my stomach, bum and hips.
“I finally went back to the gym for the first time last week after having Isabelle.”
Charlie Simpsons new band has a fightstar on their hands to keep him - as hes eyeing up a Busted reunion. Hes spent years being a seen as a credible rocker, but admits he is tempted by big money to sing hits like Year 3000. He added "But it would have to be right."
We didn't have him down as the Gay Pride type but there he is, Matt Willis papped having a drink at Gay Pride 2009. The photographer describes him as pissed although he looks alright to us. For those of you worrying that he might have turned don't panic, Matt told us he was actually in the area getting tattooed "seeing if a few drinks would ease the pain.... It didn't".
Bored? Twitter Fan? Well hop onto Twitterwall and Vote for Matt as MR UK, theres a long way to go, but if James Bourne can get it to Number 2 in a week im sure we can all get matt in a good place!! Click Here to Vote for @mattjwillis (You Can Vote as many times as you want every 20mins)
MATT Willis has opened up about being a dad for the first time.
The former Busted singer welcomed his daughter Isabelle with wife Emma Willis just two weeks ago and has been Tweeting about getting used to fatherhood.
The couple were left worried when the tiny tot was sent back into hospital with dehydration less than a week after she was born.
Matt said: “Isabelle had to go back into hospital the other night, she had dehydration. They put a little tube down her nose into her belly.
“[But] she is back home and doing fine now. My life has completely changed - but I love it!”
But after taking Isabelle home, Matt now realises just how difficult being a dad can be.
The 26-year-old says he carries his daughter around until she falls asleep, but she’s not happy when he sets her down again.
He said: “[She] will go to sleep on my chest and be quite happy, but the minute I put her in her amazing looking bed she wakes up!”
Added a brand new layout, and on top of that the Gallery has a matching new look with some brand-new photos from the last layout!! Its taken a little time to get them up but the Gallery is nearly back in full use!!
Congratulations to Matt and Emma Willis on the birth of their daughter, Isabelle Cathrine Willis at 9.05pm on Saturday the 20th June. It was only Friday when Willis tweeted that the baby was due any day.
We have added a new Layout in the Gallery to fit the new layout coming on Monday! Also nearly re-uploaded all the images back to the gallery so check it out!!!
I'M A Celeb bosses are hunting for new presenters for the Get Me Out of Here Now! spin-off after "losing" the usual trio of hosts. Married couple Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths are stepping down - while Mark Durden-Smith has been axed.
Ex-model Emma, 33, and Matt, 26, fronted the ITV2 show live from Australia for two years.
But they are expecting their first child next week and no longer want to travel.
A Get Me Out Of Here Now! spokesman said: "Matt and Emma will be new parents and won't be going so viewers can expect some exciting new changes." The show's UK-based host Mark Durden-Smith, 40, is out of a job as part of the overhaul.
The source said: "With Matt and Emma going it's a chance to rip up the format and start again. Mark understands and has done a good job over the years."
New faces are now being sought for the spin-off, which airs nightly after the main ITV1 show. Ex-GMTV face Michael Underwood and his girlfriend Angellica Bell are in the frame.
Last year's stars David Van Day and Timmy Mallett have also been punted as a great comedy duo - provided they are banned from singing.
I'm A Celeb...kicks off in November for three weeks.
Former Busted star Matt Willis and charity Save the Children are calling for world leaders' help in a new campaign which aims to put a stop to the deaths of 4.5 million children in Africa every year.
Matt said: "I am making my mark and supporting Save the Children's campaign because I just can't believe that we still live in a world where 9.2 million children die every year before their fifth birthday - many on their first day of life.
"The world knows how to save these lives - preventing these deaths is affordable and possible, if dramatic changes are made now.
"Save the Children is determined to make these changes happen. If they can get governments across the world to do the same, they will save millions of children's lives across the world. Becoming a new Dad myself, I'm all for that!"
Make Your Mark, kicks off today in eight countries in Africa and across the UK and is calling on Prime Minister Gordon Brown and other world leaders to offer their support in the form of a thumbprint.
The campaign is inspired by voting in some African countries, where people who can't write are allowed to vote by putting their thumbprint on the ballot paper.
MPs are being asked to use their Westminster lunch break today to add their marks to the expected quarter of a million people who will stamp their thumbprints on the petition.
Save the Children will take the thumbprint petition to European leaders, including Mr Brown, who are due to meet in Italy next month for the annual G8 meeting, to ask them to help stop child deaths in Africa.
Today, in Africa, 4.5 million children die before their fifth birthday each year from illnesses such as diarrhoea, pneumonia and malaria, that could easily be cured or prevented. Matt and Save the Children say this is outrageous and we must help African children to change this.
Mass marches are taking place today in countries including Sierra Leone and Nigeria, national radio phone-ins are being held on the health of children in Liberia, and about 100 schools are learning about the campaign in South Africa.
To join the campaign go to www.savethechildren.org.uk/makeyourmark or call 020 012 6400.

BUSTED STAR BACKS APPEAL FOR SUPERHERO FUNDRAISERS
Former Busted star Matt Willis is backing Save the Children's biggest ever appeal for emergency 'superhero' fundraisers, which launches tomorrow.
To mark the anniversary of two emergencies, the cyclone in Burma and the earthquake China, the charity is looking for hundreds of volunteers to become Save the Children superheroes, dropping everything to help raise funds when an emergency hits.
Matt, who was also the winner of the ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here! show in 2006, is the first superhero to take up the challenge.
Everyone who signs up will receive an emergency tin, not to be opened until the instruction is given.
As soon as the next emergency strikes, before it even hits the headlines, Save the Children will send a red alert text to all their emergency superheroes alerting them to the disaster.
They will be instructed to break open their tins and follow the step by step instructions.
The emergency tin will contain: branded t-shirts, ten top-tips for fundraising, world maps, and a memory stick with videos showing clips from Save the Children's previous emergency responses, and guidelines on how they should get out there fast to raise funds and help save children's lives.
Matt Willis said: "I've taken up Save the Children's challenge to be a superhero in emergencies because they've shown me that anyone can save lives if they want to.
"You don't have to have superpowers to make a difference. I hope that I can relay that message to people so that when they feel moved by an emergency like I know I was during the Burma cyclone and Chinese earthquake last year, that they know that they can do something to help.
People can sign up as fundraisers for emergencies by calling the charity's hotline 020 7012 6400 or going to www.savethechildren.org.uk/givetime.
Save the Children works to give every child their rights, and to stop millions of children dying each year. It focuses on four fundamental rights for children: health, freedom from hunger, education and protection.
Needing a Matt Willis fix? Well you won't have to wait much longer because the spectacle clad popstar will be on new show Grouchy Young Men which premieres exclusively on Comedy Central on Sunday 12th April at 10pm.
From the people that brought you Grumpy Old Men and Grumpy Old Women, comes Grouchy Young Men, a brand new one-hour special for Comedy Central that gives fresh batch of tetchy testosterone the chance to let off some steam. Proving that grumpyness is by no means a state of being confined to just the oldies, these twenty to thirty-something men have a catalogue of complaints that make them mad as hell, from today’s unfathomable hunger for fame to the minefield of modern dating.
Personally we think Willis is the biggest name on the show, I haven't really heard of the rest of them unless you count tan-tastic evil David from Corrie...
Don't miss it, 10pm, Sunday 12th!
Go to WWW.FLECKINGRECORDS.CO.UK to see a photo of matt from the program.
From teen heart-throb to King of the Jungle, Matt Willis is getting ready for his biggest challenge yet - being a dad.
His new wife, TV presenter Emma Griffiths, is expecting their first child in June.
While some professional women prefer to keep their maiden name, she has stuck with tradition, saying: "Some people still call me Emma Griffiths, even Matt, and I'm like, 'No, have you forgotten'. I think it's a good positive thing, if Cheryl Cole can do it so can everyone else."
And when it comes to hubby Matt - she says he gets full marks for being a dutiful dad-to-be: "He's great, yeah he's been really good. I think he thinks he's having a sibling rather than a child, but that means it's going to be a lot of fun for him when he wakes up at 4 o'clock in the morning."
"Ex Busted bandmates James bourne and Matt Willis enjoy a nightout. James turned up with friends and waited outside the club for bandmate Matt Willis and girlfriend Emma Griffithd then the group went into the club to enjoy the Viewparty night at Rex. James was celebrating his birthday and along with new band reacted some of Busteds songs. Matt spent some time arguing with head of security for not being alowed in because he was wearing a hat but after some time the door man give up."
"Ex-Busted problem child Matt Willis (Matt Jay) comes out from a news agent and has apparently gone back to his rockstar fantasy stage as he strums away on an air guitar, without even the aid of a walkman."
I Have added a new Layout to the site, thought it would be refreshing. The Gallery is still being re-uploaded once that has done i have some new photoshoots for the site!

You wouldn't think with David Gest's what actually happened : total bullshit ratio that he couldn't cram his life story in to a mere 3 hours - well he can!
You can read about David Gest : My Life and Matt Willis' appearance in the show by visiting www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/music.
Matt revealed to us that he's going in a different musical direction with his new band (different to his solo stuff - boohoo) but he assures me I'll like it, and when does the Willis ever get it wrong?
He also told us he's going to America to record the album. Let's hope he doesn't do a Bourne and decide to never come back (Not that I'm saying I want Bourne to come back, I just don't want Willis to join him ).
Hollywood Producer David Gest has held one of his famous celebrity parties in Liverpool to raise money for charity.
The I'm A Celebrity TV star enjoyed a gala dinner at the Adelphi Hotel for over 150 guests that included Tito Jackson, Busted singer Matt Willis and wife Emma Griffiths and Eastenders actor Dean Gaffney.
At the event was a svelte Kerry Katona, who flaunted her new figure in an off-the-shoulder blue silk gown, as she arrived with her husband Mark Croft.
The stunning 27-year-old ex Atomic Kitten singer has lost more than 3st in five weeks and now weighs less than 10st after her dramatic diet that involved surgery.
Other famous names at the event were American soul singer Freda Payne, who sang the hit song Band of Gold and Motown star Russell Thompkins junior, lead singer with The New Stylistics, who performed.
Busted singer Matt Willis had previously asked David Guest to be an usher at his wedding to MTV star Emma Griffiths, in the summer of 2008.
Guest was in Liverpool ahead of his Musical Extravaganza My Life!, the the Philharmonic Hall.
The show encompasses the story of the life of David Guest with comedy and music. It includes over twenty top 5 records, all performed by the original artists.
Host of the evening David Gest said: "There is something very special about Liverpool. I have always loved this city.
"I have a lot of love for the people of Liverpool."
The evening raised a huge amount of money in aid of the Variety Club North West children's charity.
I'm thrilled to announce that Christmas brought an extra-special prezzie for newlyweds Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths... she's expecting his baby due in June.
A spokeswoman for the couple, who present ITV2's I'm A Celebrity spinoff, told me: "Matt and Emma are delighted and very excited."
Matt, 25, formerly of boy band Busted, and Emma, 32, got married in Rushton Hall, Northants, last July.
Congratulations to you both. What a way to start 2009!

The gallery is basically the mattwillis.us / mattwilliszone, hence why some of the tags are mw.us [I lost the untagged versions]
We will be brining you more news and photos as it comes!!
